This is something of a placeholder where I will put information about projects I've worked on. This will probably include pictures of some of the woodworking I am doing, and maybe descriptions or code samples of projects I've worked on for school and personal use.

Networking Projects

I run a small enterprise-grade network at home with several servers and pieces of hardware:

This allows me to do a number of fun and useful things, such as:

  • Plex Media Server application running on freeNAS for local/remote media access
  • Advanced NAT and forwarding to aplications
  • Assisting serving content for a distributed website
  • Home automation scripting/hacking, such as getting TP-Link HS105 smart plugs to work with Logitech Harmony
  • Remote backups for all computers/phones in house, ActiveDirectory access to shares
  • Guest and hidden WiFi networks, hidden for laptop upgraded to Windows 10, but W10 WLAN drivers aren't compatible with WPA networks, must use unsecured (special network restricted by mac address)
  • Special subnets and firewall rules for IOT devices
