ANDREW MANDULA

All About Me

I'm Andrew Mandula, but most people call me AJ. Welcome to my site showcasing some cool stuff I have made. I am from Colorado where I have lived most of my life with a huge love of video games. Currently I am in Rochester Institutue of Technology's Game Design & Development program, where I am a (almost) 3nd year. I like to spend my free time playing any time of game with my friends or making games for fun. I have a blog elsewhere, but here's a bit of it! This summer, I am doing research for Red Hat and RIT on game research, see it here!

Games

Here are some games I have worked on so far in my time at RIT:

C3PO Suicides

Picture of C3PO Suicides in Action This is a game I made at my first ever hackathon. I learned Inform7, a great way to make text adventures for people to download or in this case, for the web. It's a great system with its own built-in IDE and system for developers to see the branches their stroy can take. A fun project all in all.
Try it now!

Perfect Day

Picture of Perfect Day in Action I just finished CSH Game Jam, and made a 3D platforming game in 24 hours. I went from no knowledge of unity to a basic understanding of unity (at least enough to make this game). This has since been worked on to be made into a randomly generated platforming game, that I may release to facebook in the near future. Check it out!

Sketch Adventures

Picture of Perfect Day in Action Here is a game I made in XNA with a group of 4 other people. We had a great time working together and made a great game! This game is a side scrolling shoot 'em up with a theme of a school kid drawing all the enemies after things he deals with daily. If you are on a Windows machine, you can download and try it out here
