Ray Dawson, an ex-lonestar cop turned private detective is investigating a case when a string of events throws him into the middle of a humanis hit on an elven superstar. With the help of Dallas Whitecrow, a young american indian bodyguard who has never been in Seattle before, Ray discovers the shadowy details of a humanis plot to kill all the metahumans in the city. After a failed attempt to test a strange virus on Ray, the duo go on the offensive to take down the humanis leader who staged the hit and the virus test, and find the plot runs deeper than simple terrorism...
